Adipurush
An upcoming Indian mythological film based on the epic Ramayana is titled Adipurush (transl. First man[a]). Om Raut wrote and directed the movie, which was made by T-Series and Retrophiles. The movie, starring Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, was simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu.
In August 2020, Adipurush was made public via a legitimate motion poster. The majority of the principal photography, which took place in Mumbai from February 2021 to November 2021, was followed by post-production work. Ajay-Atul is the music composer for the movie. Adipurush is one of the most costly Indian movies ever made at a budget of over 550 crore (US$69 million).
The movie is slated to hit theatres on June 16, 2023.
